Artificial insemination

A company with breeding geese may decide to try artificial insemination to improve fertility results. Artificial insemination can be beneficial by improving fertility late in the laying season when mating activity declines, however it is to some extent stressful to the birds.

In this service, which is recommended to goose breeding companies, I can provide training for the employees of the company how to organize the birds, how to collect semen from the ganders, how to treat the semen, and how to do artificial insemination correctly (hourly fee will be charged). Alternatively I can do it, however the needed equipment has to be available at the company and I will have to visit for several weeks until egg production ceases.
